Adobe.com provides a tutorial and free trial downloads for the latest Adobe Reader, that is available to assist you in making your document useable and accessible by your visually, or hearing impaired users. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/accessibility for more details. This link is meant to educate you in the process of making your PDF's 508 compliant. Please note that you will need additional training to be fully aware of 508 compliance. Please contact your supervisor if you are in need of further training.
Additionally, Adobe.com offers a free trial of the latest Acrobat Reader that allows you to convert PDF files to HTML pages.
To download the latest version of Acrobat Reader, please visit http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html. When you reach the page, you will need to select which version of windows you are using. If you are unsure of your windows version, you can simply right click on your "My Computer" icon and select properties to find the details of your system.
*If you are already working with Adobe 7 or later, and you wish to save a PDF to a web page (HTM file) you will go to "File" select "Save As" and change the file type to HTML or Web Page.
